Protection Spells: The Tourmaline and Salt Amulet
We cannot vibrate high every single day. There will be times when you must enter dense environments—a toxic office, a tense family gathering, a hospital—where "energy vampires" lurk. An energy vampire is not a fairy-tale monster; it is a person who, due to their own pain or lack, drains your vitality, leaving you exhausted and with a headache.
In the language of The Witch, protection is not born of fear, but of the sovereignty of your own auric field. The Emperor teaches us to set boundaries, and in practical magic, that boundary materializes in an amulet.
Black Tourmaline: The Earthly Shield
Black tourmaline is, scientifically, a pyroelectric crystal. When heated or rubbed, it generates an electrical charge. Esoterically, it is the ultimate protection stone because it does not absorb negative energy, but rather repels it and transmutes it into the earth.
Creating your Portable Amulet
To create an impenetrable barrier, we will combine the strength of tourmaline with the purifying purity of sea salt (a halite crystal with absorbent properties).
- Get a small black or red cloth pouch.
- Place a small Black Tourmaline inside (previously washed with water).
- Add a pinch of coarse sea salt and three whole cloves (known for their power to cut gossip and envy).
- Close the bag with three knots, saying at each knot: "My energy is mine. What is not of light, cannot enter. Thus it is sealed."
Carry this amulet in your bag or left pocket (the receiving side of the body). When you feel the bag become heavy or the salt hardens, open it, return the elements to the earth, and create a new one.
