Sun Sign

The Sun Sign is the zodiac sign the Sun occupied at the moment of birth, and it is what most people know as "their sign". It can be worked out from the date alone, because the Sun spends about thirty days in each sign. In the natal chart it describes core identity, will and what the person seeks to accomplish over a lifetime. It is an important factor but not the only one: the Moon, the Ascendant and the other planets greatly shape how that Sun is expressed in each particular person.
