Midheaven

The Midheaven, abbreviated MC, is the highest point of the ecliptic at the moment of birth, where the ecliptic crosses the local meridian. In most house systems it marks the cusp of the tenth house and is associated with vocation, career, reputation and public image, in other words with what the person wishes to be recognised for. Its opposite point is the Imum Coeli. Like the Ascendant, it depends on the time and place of birth and it moves quickly: about four minutes can shift it by a degree.
