Synchronicity
Synchronicity is a concept coined by the psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung to describe meaningful coincidences: two or more events with no causal link that, for the person experiencing them, are joined by a sense of meaning. A classic example is thinking of someone and receiving their call at that very moment. In esoteric practice it is seen as a sign to pay attention, and it underpins the reading of mirror hours and angel numbers. The tarot spread itself relies on this idea: the cards that appear symbolically mirror the situation being asked about.
