Fixed Signs

The Fixed Signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, which occupy the middle of each season, when its climate is fully settled. Their modality is stability: they sustain, consolidate and resist change, each through its own element. Taurus preserves resources, Leo keeps the creative flame alive, Scorpio holds emotional intensity and Aquarius defends its ideas. A chart with many fixed planets describes constancy, loyalty and the ability to finish what is started, but also stubbornness. In tarot they are linked to the four creatures on The World.
