Manifestation

In contemporary esoteric vocabulary, manifestation is the process of turning a desire into reality through intention, visualisation, affirmations and action. It was popularised by the New Thought movement and the so-called law of attraction. In magical practice it is understood as combined work on inner clarity and concrete steps, not as a shortcut that avoids effort. A prudent reading recalls that the outcome also depends on circumstances beyond one's control and that there is no point blaming oneself for what does not arrive. The Magician of the tarot is its classic image: will using the tools at hand.
