Master Numbers

The master numbers are 11, 22 and 33, the three figures that Pythagorean numerology does not reduce to a single digit when they appear in a calculation. Tradition credits them with greater intensity than their reduction (2, 4 and 6): more potential, but also more demands. The 11 is associated with intuition, the 22 with building on a large scale and the 33 with service and compassion. Many people with a master number live the reduced version for years before taking on the master one. They are not considered better, only more demanding.
