Number 1

In numerology, number 1 is the beginning, the unit from which the whole series arises. It symbolises initiative, will, independence and the ability to open new paths. As a Life Path Number it describes someone who tends to decide on their own and feels at ease leading, with the challenge of not confusing autonomy with isolation. Its shadow is impatience and difficulty asking for help. In tarot it corresponds to The Magician, the arcanum who has every tool laid out on the table and the will to use them to start something new.
