Number 8

Number 8 has the shape of two joined circles and, lying on its side, that of the infinity symbol: it is associated with balance between the material and the spiritual worlds. In numerology it symbolises power, management, ambition, authority and tangible results. As a Life Path Number it describes someone who wants to build something measurable and takes on responsibility, with the lesson of using power fairly. Its shadow is control and an obsession with success. In the Rider-Waite tarot it corresponds to Strength, who tames the lion with gentleness.
