Conjunction

The Conjunction is the aspect formed when two planets occupy practically the same degree of the zodiac, 0° apart, with a usual orb of up to eight or ten degrees. It is the most powerful aspect, because the energies of both planets merge and act as one. Its tone depends on the planets involved: Venus conjunct Jupiter is read as harmony and abundance, while Mars conjunct Saturn suggests effort and friction. It marks a beginning, since it is also the starting point of a new cycle between two planets.
