Earth Element

The Earth Element represents matter, the body, stability, work and concrete resources. In astrology it groups the signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, which share practicality, patience and the ability to build over the long term. In tarot it corresponds to the suit of Pentacles, which speaks of money, health, craft and material possessions. An excess of earth can show up as rigidity or clinging to security; a lack of it, as difficulty turning ideas into reality. In natural magic it is associated with the north, salt, stones and roots.
