Transit
A Transit is the current position of a planet in the sky and its relationship to the points of the natal chart. When a moving planet forms an aspect to a natal planet or crosses a house, astrology reads it as a period in which the themes of both are activated. Transits of the slow planets, such as Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, mark long and profound stages; those of the fast ones, such as the Moon or Mercury, last hours or days. They are the basic tool of predictive astrology.
